Who's plagiarizing who?

Everybody needs to have a catchy tag line.  For the Montana Democratic Party, their current tag line featured on their web site is "Montana's on the move."  That's pretty good.  So good that the Governor's Office of Economic Development has picked it up and is using it on official state documents

Now there's nothing wrong with a little copy-catting, but usually public officials try to keep their politicing a little bit more separated from their governing.  Gov. Schweitzer changed all that by turning his administration into the most partisan office since the days of William Andrews Clark.  He got one thing right, it really is a new day in Montana.

But, did anyone read the report? Montana really is doing better under Brain. Although I've always been a conservative economist, I have to admit, Brian's programs really are working for Montana and his administration has had more economic effect then the previous two. It sure looks like Montana is on the move, up!

Hey Claude,

What exactly has Brian done to turn our economy around? Statistics show that Montana's economy was on the move back in 2004, two years before any of Brian's economic policies took effect.

Is Brian changing the world demand for commodities or increasing residential development (other than his "blue collar" mansion on the lake)? Give me a break. He has done nothing that would allow him to take credit for our economic fortunes.

I would challenge Claude to name one of "Brian's programs" that have positively influenced the economy. Are you referring to energy development...Or maybe property tax reductions?

I'd be willing to bet that when the $400 rebate checks are delivered they'll have Brian's name on them somewhere, you know the rationale will be that Big Bri is responsible for "putting Montana on the move" giving us back money that was ours to begin with. I'll bet Claude even thinks that's some form of economic development too.

I bet ya that ole Brian considers all these forrest fires economic development! More fire fighters are working than ever before! Montana's on the Move!

"Montana's On the Move" sounds suspiciously like "MoveOn.Org" to me.
